Brand Identity Redesign & Modular Poster Grid System
Barby Club, a legendary Tel Aviv music venue established in 1994, needed a visual refresh to match its iconic status while maintaining its underground, artistic soul. The goal was to create a flexible poster grid system that honored its rich musical legacy from launching local artists to hosting international acts while giving it a bold, contemporary identity.
Developed as part of my design studies at Studio 6B

The Challenge
Modernizing Barbie’s branding without losing its raw, DIY spirit. The old logo and posters felt outdated, lacking consistency for events ranging from punk to electronic. The new system needed to work across diverse genres, balancing the club’s gritty energy with clean functionality for quick poster production.
Creative Solution
I redesigned the logo into a sharp, vectorized block format for versatility, then introduced hand-drawn sketch elements to echo Barbie’s creative chaos. The poster grid uses a modular layout with bold typography and dynamic placement for event details, letting the sketched accents (like abstract musical notations or rough textures) add organic contrast to the structured system. This hybrid approach keeps the club’s rebellious vibe while ensuring clarity and speed for promotional needs.
